When getting clipart online, always make sure you can use the art. There are thousands of websites that have artwork that has been downloaded from the internet and offered up as free clipart. Almost all the images are copyright protected and illegal to use. If you are caught using these images, you could be faced with legal action. Make sure if you use clipart you have the right to use it.

5000 Free webpage backgrounds - Download any or all of over 5000 page backgrounds. Easy to browse by color and type, then simply save the image and use it on your own website. Probably the largest gallery of free backgrounds online.

Clipart.com is a subscription website and it can be a bit expensive to join at $170 per year. However, the images are licensed to you via the membership and you will be able to download over 6 million images. The database is also searhable so you can quickly find what you need.

barrysclipart.com - looks like a good collection of clipart if you do not mind the advertising. As an alternative to the membership at clipart, it may be worth weeding through all the flashing banners and popups. Not sure if they have the right to distribute the images, so beware of any copyright restrictions.
